Claremorris Celebrations

It was a case of the Wild West in Claremorris, on Friday, October 1st, as a rodeo disco marked the celebrations of graduation night 2010. It was a very busy night for the Mayo club as over 40 hosts and hostesses graduated to receive their certificates in leadership and self development, and another 43 hosts and hostesses were introduced to the club. 145 No Name Club members meet for Health Conference

145 people gathered this weekend for a No Name Club health conference that focussed on key issues affecting teenagers and was described as a “great success”. Some 120 teenagers and 25 adults from the West and North West No Name Clubs assembled in The Welcome Inn Hotel, Castlebar, Co Mayo on Saturday, October 2nd, for the conference that delivered a series of workshops on issues that affect teenagers’ health and wellbeing. On the weekend of September 3rd, Cobh town will play host to a carnival and funfair that will provide entertainment within the Cork town for three days.
