Westport’s Charity Walk

Westport No Name Club are embarking on a mission to raise money for the Irish Kidney Association and in doing so, the club will be raising awareness of the benefits of walking. The Irish Kidney Association is a charitable voluntary organisation that was founded in 1978 and is dedicated to meeting the needs of renal patients living with and affected by end stage renal disease. Volunteer showcases No Name Club

Mountbellew No Name Club volunteer Niamh Nestor is showcasing the volunteering work she is doing with the organisation through an exhibition that is travelling to 20 higher education institutes across Ireland. Niamh, an adult committee member with Mountbellew No Name Club, is a student at Froebel College of Education and her work is being showcased to students to encourage them to get involved in volunteering. Supertalent 2011

Supertalent 2011 kicked off last weekend with singing, dancing, the playing of instruments, comedy and excellent performances at the East and South regional finals. Hundreds of No Name Club hosts and hostesses assembled in Baltinglass, Co Wicklow on Saturday March 12th and in Fermoy, County Cork on Sunday March 13th for the finals. Gort Charity Fashion Show

Congratulations to all in Gort No Name Club who have raised over €4,000 for charity after organising a fashion show that brought over 300 people together. The event was held at The Centre on Friday March 25th and brought people from the No Name Club, the local community and surrounding regions together to raise money for Croí.
