Exams Over: Claremorris Parties!

The relief, the relief! To mark the end of the school exams, Claremorris No Name Club is running a disco to celebrate their completion. The Mayo club will run the disco on Friday, June 17th at Blue Night Club, the Dalton Inn Hotel. It will run from 9.30pm to 12.30am on Friday, June 17th and feature spot prizes along with the finest in pop, dance, r’n'b and rap music. Admission will cost €6 for members and €8 for non-members. Wondering is there demand for No Name Clubs around the country? The newly established Kildare Town No Name Club gives a very good indication as to the interest there is in communities to having clubs that can provide teenagers with fun and healthy activities that allow them to get together and make friends. Charities benefit from Ring of Hook fundraiser

Ring of Hook No Name Club has raised over €2,000 for charity after it pushed a bed along a 21 kilometre stretch of road and beach. 20 Hosts and Hostesses and adult committee leaders participated in the fundraising drive on Sunday, June 5th that saw a bed being pushed from Ring of Hook lighthouse, onto Fetherd on Sea, and then to the town of Duncannon. It was a night of style and glamour that raised over €4,000 for a charity that is dedicated to reducing the impact of heart disease and stroke through enhanced cardiac care. Gort No Name Club brought over 300 people together for a charity fashion show that raised valuable money for Croí, a West-of-Ireland based charity.
