Bed Pushing for Ring of Hook

They’ll be pushing a bed around the roads of South Wexford this weekend. It’s all for good causes as Ring of Hook No Name Club will be running a charity bed push and walk in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland and St Louis Day Care Centre, Ramsgrange. Schools out for Summer and Killarney No Name Club will celebrate this great news! The club is holding a “Schools  Out for Summer” Disco this Friday night, June 3rd. The event will be held at McSorley’s nightclub with crowd pleasing DJ Mickey taking to the decks once again. Admission will cost €8 and the event will run from 8pm to 11pm.

Islandeady scale heights

It is literally a very, very tall challenge. Two hostesses from Islandeady No Name Club will climb the highest mountain in Africa this month to raise money for a number of local charities. Jacinta Walsh and Elana Allen will scale the 6,000 metre mountain in Tanzania and in doing so raise valuable funds for Mayo Autism Action, Mayo Roscommon Hospice, Mayo Society for the Prevention of Cruelty for Animals, Mayo Cystic Fibrosis, and Western Respite Care. Successful wheeling and dealing in Ballyjamesduff

The Hosts and Hostess of Ballyjamesduff No Name Club were out over the weekend to sell, sell, sell and in doing so successfully raised over €900 for the County Cavan club. Its members organised a jumble sale that was held in St Joseph’s Parish Hall on Saturday May 28th and saw a wide variety of goods collected from local businesses and people and sold in aid of the No Name Club. Lazer show at Ring of Hook

It was a great show in Duncannon, Co Wexford recently as Ring of Hook No Name Club took to the dancefloor for its Oxygen 2011 disco. A lazer lights show brought a mass of local teenagers out for a night of celebration that was free from the influence of alcohol.
