We are thrilled to announce that Con Nolan has been honoured with the John McCallion Memorial Award 2024 at the Mayo Garda Youth Awards, held last night at the beautiful Breaffy House Hotel & Spa! The award was presented by John's father Bob McCallion and John's wife in recognition of Con’s outstanding commitment to youth and community service.

With 38 years in the Gardaí and a legacy of serving young people through the Claremorris No Name Club No Name Club, Con has been a true community champion. For over 25 years, he has helped create a safe, alcohol- and drug-free space for over 2,000 young people, empowering them to grow and make positive life choices.

As CEO, Designated Liaison Person, and Vetting Officer for the National No Name Club, Con's leadership has helped form 12 new clubs across the West of Ireland, ensuring this impactful organization continues to thrive.

We were also delighted to have our Chairperson Dr. Garret Keenaghan and Vice Chairperson Edith Geraghty in attendance, along with Con's family and fellow Claremorris No Name Club volunteers.

This award is a true testament to Con’s unwavering dedication, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Comhghairdeas Con!
