Super Talent Awards 2023
Saturday 27 th of May saw five of our nationwide club's travel to Ballinrobe Co. Mayo to compete in our annual Super Talent Competition. It was a fantastic day where we saw 84 young people and adults attending and performing a myriad of compositions. There was notable talent on display and the judges were extremely impressed. Both judges commented on how there was such a lovely atmosphere and how everyone supported each other so well, quite typical of No Name Club values! Lu

Effects of Fast Fashion on our Environment
Six members of Kilkenny No Name Club in conjunction with ECO-UNESCO, Young Irish Film Makers and Feachtas, have created a film looking at the effects of Fast Fashion on our environment. This project is one aspect of the wonderful partnership that ECO-UNESCO has with the No Name Club.


Youth Awards 2022 Finals
The 37th Annual No Name Club National Youth Awards took place in the Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise on Saturday 28th May. Congratulations to the 2022 Host and Hostess of the year Elbhíra Jordan from Claremorris No Name Club and Colm Kelly from Headford No Name Club. Volunteer Award for Caroline O’Connor, Naas No Name Club
We received fantastic news in Naas No Name Club this week. Eoin Ryan, Deputy Chairperson of Naas No Name Club, let us know that Naas Chairperson Caroline O’Connor will receive an award and letter from the Taoiseach on Thursday 19th May, to commend her outstanding work with, and for, young people throughout the pandemic. Caroline’s devotion to the social, emotional, and personal development of young people began before the pandemic, and will no doubt continue for many years to


Volunteer Week 2022
Volunteers are at what makes the No Name Club happens across the country. We are so grateful for their selfless dedication to our young people and the No Name Club and the time that they take out of their weeks to be there for the development of young people. To celebrate the fantastic volunteers we have in our organisation, we are asking young people to tell us about the volunteers, or a particular volunteer in their own club. Submissions will be put into the draw to win one


Mental Health First Aid Training
Well done to all of our volunteers across Ireland who qualified as Mental Health First Aiders over the past few weeks! 14 amazing volunteers from across No Name Club have given up their last four Tuesday nights to qualify as Youth Mental Health First Aiders. They are incredible individuals who support young people in their clubs and communities - teachers, students, social workers, coaches, bus drivers, carpenters…. from across Headford, Kilkenny, Balla, Naas, Portlaoise, C


ISHT Training for Clubs

Headford Club raises €2,100 for Ronald McDonald House Charities
We are so proud of the young people in Headford who raised a massive €2100 for Ronald McDonald House Charities doing our awake-a-thon on Saturday. Headford club hosted an Awake-a-thon on the 26th of March in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities. The club have been raising money for this charity since it began and funds raised will go towards the building of a new 52 bedroomed house for families of sick children in Crumlin hospital. When I heard about this book from a friend, I was surprisingly intrigued. I’d never previously been one for historical fiction but the title ‘The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo’, admittedly piqued my interest. My logic was that no boring book could have such a title. Kilkenny goes to Lilliput Adventure Centre
Kilkenny No Name Club – Lilliput Weekend 21st & 22nd October 2023 This past weekend, Kilkenny No Name Club took their now annual bonding trip to Lilliput Adventure Centre in Mullingar Co. Westmeath. Over 50 members took on challenges such as Orienteering, Capture the flag (KK style), Sniper, Kayaking, Bog Hopping and Abseiling. Kilkenny Tree Planting
Members of Kilkenny No Name Club were joined by Kilkenny County Council and Minister for Heritage & Electoral Reform Malcolm Noonan T.D. to plant some native Cherry trees. This activity formed part of Kilkenny No Name Clubs ECO-UNESCO project for 2023.
